How long does a headshot photography session take?
For guys it normally takes around one and half to two hours and ladies approximately three to five hours. It’s dependant on which package you choose and your personal requirements.
What should I bring to my shoot?
We recommend you bring a suitcase of your favourite clothes. At time of booking we will send you some ideas and suggestions.
Do you only photograph models?
Absolutely not, our headshot photography service is for everyone. We do headshot portraits for corporates, personal branding, actors, child actors and dancers and also modelling portfolios.
Do you do corporate and commercial shoots?
Yes. The work I can cover includes:
• Personal branding
• Product and commercial photography
• Interior or outdoor photography, perfect for AirBNB or selling your home
• Corporate Headshot photography
• Team photography
Do I do my own make-up and hair?
No need, professional makeup and hair is provided on the day by Byron Bay Makeup Co.
Do you do modelling portfolios?
Yes, we can work with you to create a modelling portfolio for you with a number of different looks for your portfolio to show your flexibility and range.
Do I need to know how to pose?
Marcus will guide you all the way, you don’t need prior experience. Our feedback from clients is always how easy Marcus makes the process.
Where is your studio?
We are on a stunning rural property in Mullumbimby, approximately 20 minutes from Byron Bay and 50 minutes from the Gold Coast. We have clients come in from Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast, Sydney and beyond. Our studio is equipped for natural light indoor shots and we have ample outdoor spots incorporating lush rural backdrops. We are only 15 mins from Brunswick heads and can arrange beach photos if required. The space is light , relaxed and condusive to clients being able to chill out and get the best shots possible. It's a super relaxing space and has tonnes of natural light for awesome photos.
What are your payment terms?
We ask for a $100 non-refundable deposit at time of booking and the balance on the day of the shoot.
How long until I get my images?
Approximately one and half weeks . We can do express jobs if required. This may incur an express charge of $95 and can be achieved in a 24 hour turn around.
